Superintendent’s Advisory Committee

Russell County School District is committed to excellence. We need help in achieving this goal from students, teachers, support staff, parents, and community members. One way to accomplish this mission is to launch a Superintendent’s Advisory Committee.

An advisory committee can play a vital role in the success of a school district’s education program. The purpose of the committee is to provide an opportunity for employees, parents, and community members to share concerns of education issues and contribute to decision-making process involving the business of our school district. Ultimately, the committee members represent a voice for all stakeholders. Members will be required to attend bi-monthly meetings throughout the calendar school year.

Selected candidates of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee will be appointed by the Superintendent based on an application process. If you are interested in being a member of the Russell County School District’s Superintendent’s Advisory Committee, please click on the link below and submit the attached application to coleyb@russellcsd.net. Deadline to apply is Friday, December 29,2017.

Thank you in advance for your interest in Russell County Schools. We are looking forward to a great committee that will assist in guiding and improving the education program in our district. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us or visit us at www.myrcsd.org.
