Russell County School District is committed to excellence. We need help in achieving this goal from students, teachers, support staff, parents, and community members. One way to accomplish this mission is to launch a Superintendent’s Advisory Committee.
An advisory committee can play a vital role in the success of a school district’s education program. The purpose of the committee is to provide an opportunity for employees, parents, and community members to share concerns of education issues and contribute to decision-making process involving the business of our school district. Ultimately, the committee members represent a voice for all stakeholders. Members will be required to attend bi-monthly meetings throughout the calendar school year.
Selected candidates of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee will be appointed by the Superintendent based on an application process.
